Patient Conscious Safety and Standard of Care

Acupuncture Image -

We are all being challenged in new ways on how to best care for our children, elderly parents, friends, neighbors, communities, and ourselves. Together we are practicing ways to make lives better today, tomorrow, and beyond.

Each clinic across the country is independently owned and operated, but as a brand, we are united by our mission and collectively working together to provide the level of trust, care and service our patients have come to expect from Modern Acupuncture. We have set the industry standard with our safety and sanitation policies as the largest provider of acupuncture in the U.S. and have a team dedicated to achieving the ultimate level of protection.

As circumstances evolve and change rapidly, our team is updating protocols established in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as specific requirements from the State and Local Health Departments in which the individual clinics operate.

Above and Beyond Safety

The pandemic has opened our eyes and hearts to a new perspective on health care, both mentally and physically. We have taken significant precautions to keep our patients, staff and communities safe by maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation. Our Acupuncturists and Zen Advisors work to ensure that our patient’s health is never put at risk. We're taking the following precautions:

SANITIZED & SPACED CHAIRS
Each chair is sanitized thoroughly between each session and spaced at least 6 feet apart. There are curtains between each chair.

CLEAN HANDS
All staff is required to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer before and after contact with a member or guest.

DISINFECTED SURFACES
All high-touch surfaces are disinfected frequently and there is hand sanitizer next to each chair for patients to use as well.

MASKS ENCOURAGED (REQUIRED IN MOST CLINICS)
Zen Advisors and Acupuncturists wear masks while providing service and treatments. All patients must follow the local mandates regarding masks.

STAFF HEALTH TRAINING
All employees are required to follow a strict set of guidelines and complete annual health and safety training.

Please be sure to check directly with the clinic nearest you, for additional measures of safety and care. We look forward to continuing our mission to make lives better for every single person who walks through our doors.

Stay safe and healthy.
